Template response email for SEISS and CJRS nudge letters

If you have received a nudge letter from HMRC, reviewed your claim, and you are satisfied it is correct, you should contact HMRC to confirm that you believe your claim to be correct. If you are an IPSE member, we have created an email template below which you can use to do this. Make sure you’re absolutely certain of your position. HMRC will not be tolerant of errors here.

If you know that some of your claims were incorrect and your checks confirm this, you should not use this template letter and instead notify HMRC and pay back the over-claimed amount as soon as possible and using HMRC’s guidelines.
