Freelancers seeking co-working options could save as much as £240 per year following the launch of a new partnership between the UK’s only dedicated freelancer association and workspace provider AndCo.
The tie-in means members of IPSE (the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed) can access a network of over 400 workspaces and meeting rooms, all with secure, superfast Wi-Fi.
By working with hospitality partners and companies with spare space, AndCo offers flexible and cost-effective co-working at unique venues, including Convivio in Bristol, Picadilly’s Zedwell Hotel, Vauxhall’s Staybridge Suites and Angel’s modern design nHow Hotel.
With quick and easy booking, workers are free to move between venues as they please – ideal for freelancers in need of dedicated workspaces between client visits.
Derek Cribb, IPSE CEO, said: “Freelancers and contractors are a valuable resource for their clients, but above all they are a flexible one – even more so when they’re backed by flexible workspaces. That’s why I’m delighted to unveil this brand-new and exclusive benefit of IPSE membership, the UK’s only trade association dedicated to the self-employed.
“After a period of lockdown many freelancers and their clients are keen to get back to face-to-face activities. The launch of this partnership with Andco gives our members immediate access to over 400 workspaces, with plans to expand across the UK at pace.”
Tom Wordie, AndCo Founder, said: “We are tremendously proud to be partnering with IPSE. Our mission has always been to provide cost effective coworking and meeting rooms and we are delighted that our offering will be extended to IPSE members for free as part of their membership.
“We've long recognised that freelancers and the self-employed make up a hugely important and valued proportion of our membership and so it's incredibly satisfying to be able to work with an organisation which is totally dedicated to supporting them and lobbying for their interests.
“In addition, we're very excited that the geographical spread of IPSE members throughout the UK will be the guide which we use to direct our expansion nationwide.”
