The Confidence Index is a quarterly survey that tracks the business performance and economic outlook of freelancers and the self-employed in the UK, conducted by IPSE in association with PeoplePerHour (PPH). It is the only authoritative indicator on freelancers’ business performance, which is used by the Bank of England and other organisations to assess inflationary pressures, overall business confidence and trends in the economy.
The data gathered from this survey provides important insight to ensure that freelancers are accurately represented, and continue to be a key enabler of innovation and efficiency driven economy.
