What makes IPSE so strong, as the only dedicated voice for the UK’s self-employed workforce, is our members and our ability to provide a platform for you to make your voices heard. Crucial to the success of this is the involvement of our members at every level in shaping what we do and how we do it.
Your input shapes our plans and as an organisation we are constantly evolving. In response to past feedback that we’ve received we have taken on board many suggestions to ensure we continue to serve our members in the best way possible. One way that we do this is through our member survey which gives you the opportunity to tell us what you think.
Support and guidance via IPSE Advice and our webinars
Members asked us for more advice and support and we have provided this through our newly created IPSE Advice section of the website, discussed in more detail in my previous blog, where you will find information and guidance on insurance, coronavirus, IR35 and more. We have also created a library of exclusive webinars, free to attend and watch back for members. You can see what we’ve got coming soon and sign up for the latest webinar on our Upcoming Events page.
Access to legal tools and easy-to-use member benefits
You asked us to provide you with more legal tools and so we have arranged a partnership with Markel Law to provide a massive 69% discount on their vast library of tools, templates and documents available through the Markel Law Hub as well as ongoing access to our 24-hour legal helpline. Whether you need an IR35 compliant contract template, a guide on data-protection or have a legal query about running your business, IPSE is here to help.
We have also received feedback requesting that we make the benefits of membership more clear and easier to access on our website so there is now a dedicated Membership Benefits page outlining exactly what your IPSE membership is doing for you. We are always working to improve the accessibility and navigation of the website to ensure you can easily get the information you need, when you need it.
Have your say and get involved
Engagement with our members is vital to us and you asked us to do more of it so we have created our Campaign Hub detailing how you can get involved with any of our important campaigns. Have your say on IR35, government Covid-19 support and late payment and find out how you can make a difference.
In addition, we also frequently ask our members for feedback directly and your next opportunity to do this is here with our latest regular member survey. Here you can tell us exactly what you want to see and hear from us in the future and let us know what more we can do to support you in running your business. If you haven’t had a chance yet (you may have received an email about it already), please take the time to complete it, it is incredibly helpful to us and the whole IPSE membership.
