Solicitor and intellectual property expert Kim Huggins became the first winner of IPSE’s new Member of the Year Award category at the IPSE Freelancer Awards 2023.
Chosen by the IPSE team, the IPSE Member of the Year Award celebrates a member who has shown true passion for IPSE membership and giving back to the community.
In choosing the winner, IPSE were particularly impressed with the amount that Kim was willing to give back to the community, being only too happy to meet fellow members at meet-ups, supporting them with mentoring sessions and even advising them on IR35 legislation in the aftermath of the off-payroll working reforms.
She has also made hugely valued contributions to IPSE’s policy and campaign work, as well as inspiring others by sharing her member story on the IPSE website and newsletters.
Kim has truly demonstrated a passion for self-employment, for helping others to succeed and the community of freelancers that is IPSE – thank you, Kim, for all of your support!
