IPSE is extremely concerned about recent reports the Government is considering extending the disastrous changes to IR35 from the public sector the private sector. IPSE has been leading the charge against this unjust policy, which would force freelancers to pay employment taxes without receiving any employment benefits.

Our research has identified ninety Conservative MPs whose majorities are smaller than the number of self-employed people they represent. IPSE is writing to these MPs to warn against extending these rules, which have already caused chaos in the public sector. Please find the list here, ordered by smallest to largest majority.
