When you work for yourself, who do you turn to for advice on complicated matters like tax, contracts, and the law? As one of our most popular benefits, the tax and legal helplines are the first port of call for our members.
Help is just a phone call away.
Our dedicated helpline connects you with experienced status specialists who can answer technical questions, explain how the legislation applies to your contracts, and help you navigate compliance with confidence. From interpreting clauses to understanding your options, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
The IR35 helpline is available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Call our tax helpline for answers to your most burning tax questions.
Each year, self-employed individuals across the UK are faced with a variety of tax deadlines and regulations they must follow. Even the slightest misstep could land you in hot water with HMRC. So, if you’re ever unsure about anything tax-related, the Tax helpline should be the first call you make. The Tax and VAT helpline is available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
What makes this helpline unique is that the advisors have extensive knowledge of tax and VAT, often with experience working for HMRC.
Advice areas covered include contentious Income tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, IHT, PAYE, NIC and VAT matters, as well as advice and guidance on dealing with investigations.
Losing sleep over legal queries?
