Why do you need to blog?

The internet runs on algorithms, meaning if you have a website regularly updated with new content, you’re more likely to be found by search engines like Google and Bing and in turn more likely to rank higher on the search engine results pages (SERP).

Blogging helps to boost your search engine optimisation (SEO) by positioning your website as a relevant answer to people’s search queries. The higher you rank, the more likely you’ll be seen as a credible source of information.

Now before you start writing lots of articles there are a few things you need to think about such as:

1) what might people want to read and
2) how are you going to put this information together, so it’s recognised and ranked well by search engines.
