National Freelancers Day is here!

National Freelancers Day is the annual event when we should all stand up as a community and celebrate the contribution we make to the UK. In the past year, two million people worked on a freelance basis, collectively contributing a staggering £119bn to the UK economy.

New research about freelancers

To mark the day, IPSE has published new research that shows freelancers are incredibly happy working this way and, while it can be hard, most freelancers wouldn’t have it any other way.

Events around the UK

We are hosting events in London, Bristol and Manchester where hundreds of freelancers will come together to learn how best to boost their business, from starting out to taking it to the next level. We will also be hosting the Freelancer of the year awards this evening. Follow the day live on twitter with #NationalFreelancersDay. Read all about the day at nationalfreelancersday.com.

General Elections - Guide on voting

If you haven’t made your mind up on how to vote check out the latest issue of the IPSE Magazine, where each major party outlines its plans for the self-employed. There are many articles on the main IPSE website to help you decide where to cast your vote. Last week we launched our manifesto, A Contract with the Self-Employed, in which we outline all the policies we want the new government to implement on your behalf.
