Birkbeck, University of London becomes IPSE’s latest University Partner

IPSE is delighted to announce that Birkbeck, University of London has become the organisation’s latest University Partner, continuing our mission to make self-employment an attractive and accessible career path for the next generation of business owners. 

IPSE will be working closely with Birkbeck to deliver workshops, provide expert resources and develop their existing enterprise initiatives.

Our University Partners will also be crucial in the development of IPSE’s policies and research in to education for the self-employed.

IPSE is proud to be associated with dedicated universities who recognising the importance of supporting and encouraging the next generation of self-employed professionals.

Birkbeck’s Employability Consultant, Jenna Davies, commented: “We’re excited to expand our enterprise support for students through our Enterprise Pathways programme. As an evening university, we have a very diverse range of students in terms of age, background and interests.

“Many are career changers and having run a workshop with IPSE this year, the interest was extremely positive. We’ve found that a number of students are keen to explore self-employment opportunities and we’re looking forward to kicking off our partnership with IPSE this year.”
