National Freelancers Day

Join us for our annual event, National Freelancers Day 2020, taking place on Thursday 18 June at Kings Place in London.  We will be celebrating the very best of the UK’s most exciting, driven and enterprising self-employed at our annual conference.  Freelancers now make up 2 million of the UK's workforce.  If you are one of these then attend the flagship event for contractors, consultants, independent professionals and interims, and network within one of the fastest growing sectors.

A packed day full of inspirational speakers, interactive sessions, informative workshops and so much more.  Give yourself some time to step away from what you do best and develop your skills, knowledge and networks.  Networking drinks will also be held after the event at the Chapel Down Gin Works from 17.00 just across the road from the main venue.

2020 Programme

National Freelancers Day will hear from expert speakers around four key themes:

Wellbeing: Gain knowledge about ways you can maintain and improve your personal wellbeing to help you thrive in the freelance world.

Winning Work: Learn new techniques about how you can win work and grow your business through successfully promoting yourself.

Finance: Gain insight into how you can take control of your finances and learn new financial skills from industry experts.

Take Charge: Take charge as a freelancer and check you are protecting yourself in the right way.

2019 In Review

In 2019 we had our most successful NFD to date with over 450 guests joining us to celebrate in London and smaller regional events in Bristol and Manchester. Our keynote speakers, Pip Jamieson, founder and CEO of the netwroking platform The Dots and Adam Kay, award-winning bestselling author and comedian, set the tone for the day with their opening and closing speeches. We also welcomed speakers from companies such as i2media research, Fiverr, Battersea Scratch Hub, Lola Media and Sanctus.

"An event on the freelancer calendar that’s not to be missed. NFD offers a great selection of support that is designed to help freelancers manage, grow and develop their business, while they focus on the art of what they do. At Kelly OCG we were delighted to be part of such a credible event."
