The Chancellor has announced the reforms to IR35 in both the private and public sector will be repealed.  This means, from 6th April next year, contractors and their limited companies will once again be responsible for determining the IR35 status of their engagements and it will be they who will be liable should HMRC disagree with their decisions.

IPSE has welcomed this move, while also warning that the original IR35 will now come back to haunt us. Questions are also starting to surface about how smoothly we will transition away from the era of blanket bans, indemnity clauses and forced umbrella ‘employment’, to giving contractors full control of determining their own status.

In this webinar, IPSE’s Andy Chamberlain and Markel Direct's Paul Mason and Danny Batey, will provide a recap of the reforms and what we can expect now that they are destined for the scrapheap. We will also want to answer any questions you might have about the announcement. You can submit questions in advance via the registration page and you can ask questions during the webinar itself.
