IPSE local meet-up – Brighton

  • Networking

This event has now passed...

However, we run over 100 events (both virtual and in-person) throughout the year.  Please feel free to search through our upcoming events where you can get the latest insights for your business and the world of self-employment.

Over the past couple of years, we at IPSE have missed meeting members face-to face, and now (COVID-19 restrictions permitting) we want to get back out there!

With the support of members, we will be hosting a series of local meet-ups, so that local self-employed people can connect and learn from one another. The local meet-ups will allow you to expand your network and strengthen business opportunities, and we hope will boost your sense of wellbeing by sharing experiences with others.

On Wednesday 29th June, IPSE will be in Brighton and invites both members and non-members to join us for an evening of networking.  The informal gathering will be hosted by IPSE member Bernie Keohane, with discussions led by IPSE’s Director of Policy Andy Chamberlain. Andy will talk about the changing world of work, the challenges it poses to policy makers and the potential long term impacts of Covid-19.  This will be followed by drinks and your chance to create new connections and find out what local self-employed people are up to with their businesses.

Registration

This event is open to both IPSE members and non-members and is free to attend but registration is essential. Please register here.

The meet-up will take place on Wednesday 29th June at 19.00 – 21.00 in the bar at the Verdict jazz club in Brighton (The Verdict, 159 Edward Street, Brighton, BN2 0JB).  We have an area reserved on the ground floor of the venue where you will meet IPSE's Andy Chamberlain and IPSE member Bernie Keohane.

Interested in hosting an event of your own?

We hope to run many more local member meet-ups up and down the country. Would you be able to support your local self-employed community and host a member meet-up? IPSE members please login to register your interest.
