Membership Eligibility


To qualify for IPSE Student membership you must be:

  • A current student at a University, Higher Education College, Further Education College, or have graduated within the past 12 months
  • Enrolled on a qualification at level 4 or above (e.g. BA, BSc, HNC, HND, FdSc, BEng, MA, MSc, MBA, PhD)
  • Aged 18 and over

*To validate your eligibility you should enter a valid ‘.ac.uk’ email address. If you are unable to provide a ‘.ac.uk’ email address (but are eligible for IPSE Student membership) you will be required to upload a document confirming your student status. Upon receipt of payment you will be prompted to upload your supporting document to activate your account.

  • IPSE Student members must be aged 18 and over

IPSE Student Membership Terms and Conditions               

  • Student membership is valid for one year from date of purchase
  • Once membership payment has been processed, payment is non-refundable
  • No direct-debit option nor monthly payment option is available for IPSE Student membership
  • Members must be aged 18 and over
  • IPSE Student members must be a current student at a University, Higher Education College, Further Education College, or have graduated within the past 12 months
  • IPSE Student members must be enrolled on a qualification level 4 or above - or within one year of graduating with a level 4 qualification See qualification framework
  • By registering for membership, you confirm that all information provided is true to the best of your knowledge
  • Member must have an email address with a .ac.uk domain or alternatively provide scanned evidence of current student status – i.e. letter from your education institution confirming you are a current registered student
  • If member is within one year of graduation, they must provide either graduation certificate, or letter from the university confirming their dates of study. This is to be uploaded during application process.
  • If member needs to provide a document confirming their status in lieu of a .ac.uk email address, membership will only be activated once eligibility is confirmed by IPSE team.
  • Members must inform IPSE should any contact details change
  • If IPSE establishes that you do not meet the criteria as indicated in the terms and conditions and IPSE Student membership criteria, IPSE reserves the right to withdraw student membership without refunding payment
  • IPSE Student members are non-voting members
  • IPSE Student membership benefits are subject to change
