This report provides an occupational and demographic snapshot of the entire solo self-employed sector, as well as shedding further light on the makeup of the crucial freelance workforce using data extracted by Kingston university. Looking at the size, changes and trends in solo self-employment and freelancing over the last nine years, this report continues on from a succession of research conducted in 2008, 2011, 2015 and 2016.
