NFD 2018 – IPSE’s tenth annual celebration of the great and the good of the UK’s freelance community – was the biggest and best yet with over 400 attendees, 40 speakers, five streams and 11 sponsors.

Structured around four key streams – health and wellbeing, digital, winning work, and financial – the day brought together some of the UK’s brightest freelancers and speakers from a range of industries, specialisms and companies including Uber, Aon, Sanctus and Beavertown Brewery.

“Since the inaugural NFD 10 years ago, the event has grown significantly, and this nomination is wonderful recognition of the fantastic work our team – in particular our events manager Claire Barrance – put into making this year’s event such an overwhelming success.

“As the representative body of 74,000 members and a wider self-employed population of nearly five million people, it is our duty to host events that provide this sector of the workforce with all the tools, advice and networking opportunities to thrive in business. Judging by not only this nomination but feedback from attendees, speakers and sponsors, NFD 2018 did all that and more. Next year has a lot to live up to!” Chris Bryce, IPSE CEO.
