Chris Bryce

CEO

Chris was one of the original 2,000 members of the organisation when it was formed as the Professional Contractors Group in 1999. He is a seasoned contractor with a strong client base in global scale change management.

Before becoming a contractor Chris had a career in sales and marketing followed by 10 years in senior management in the logistics industry. He was appointed as Interim CEO in June 2013 and accepted the role permanently in December 2013.

In 2014 Chris oversaw the rebranding of PCG as IPSE, the association for Independent Professionals and the Self Employed and is tasked with leading the organisation into its next phase of development.

Simon McVicker

Director of Policy

Simon has been IPSE Director of Policy and External Affairs since January 2009. during which time he has strengthened the organisation's links with politicians and other key influencers.

Previously, he headed up public affairs at the Manufacturing Technologies Association and The Independent Schools Information Service. Simon also worked at Conservative Central Office, running the Conservative Collegiate Forum and was a team leader in John Major's 1992 General Election Campaign Team. He was Councillor in the London Borough of Ealing from 1990 to 1994. Simon Chaired the Public Affairs Group of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) from 2012-15. He is currently Interim Chair of the CIPR Fellows Forum.

With more than 25 years' experience in the field, Simon is ideally placed to ensure that IPSE members have their voices heard by the UK's leaders.

Corinne Stuart

Head of Sales

Corinne is Head of Sales at IPSE and also an IPSE Member. She started her career working in regional press before moving to Mirror Group Newspapers, Sky Television and Carlton Television, now part of ITV. Corinne specialises in helping membership organisations increase member numbers, revenue and profitability.

She has worked for, amongst others, the RIBA, Ri, RCGP and the ODI. Corinne has over 20 years of experience running her own businesses, both as a sole trader and Limited company. She now helps IPSE secure extra revenue and the best deals for members.

Priya Patel

Head of Finance and Resource

FCCA-qualified and with over a decade’s experience, Priya has been heading up IPSE’s Finance team since November 2016. In that time, she has presided over one of the most financially successful periods in IPSE’s history.

Before joining IPSE, Priya also enjoyed a highly successful and varied career providing financial expertise in everything from the telecommunications industry to professional services.

As IPSE’s Head of Finance & Resource, Priya has already overseen a range of hugely successful projects – not least pension auto-enrolment. Now she is focused on streamlining processes across the organisation to build an even more profitable future for IPSE.

Suneeta Johal

Head of RET

Suneeta has headed up IPSE’s research department since June 2012 and has forged strong relationships with leading academic institutions and research agencies. She has conducted and commissioned extensive research on the self-employed including the Freelancer Confidence Index, a quarterly survey tracking the economic outlook of freelancers in the UK. Suneeta is the Director of the Centre for Research in Self-Employment and has been instrumental in the formation of the think tank by bringing together experts at the forefront of self-employment studies from across the world.
