Being self-employed can be incredibly rewarding. You’re your own boss, so often have more control over the direction of your business, as well as where and when you work. However, working for yourself can be isolating and lonely at times, particularly when you don’t have a team around you to discuss ideas with and to help keep you motivated following a setback.
In this webinar, Eugene Farrell, Mental Health Lead at AXA PPP healthcare, discusses how self-employment can sometimes cause feelings of loneliness that may have a negative impact upon your mental health. Eugene will also share some actionable tips on how you can combat these feelings of isolation and loneliness, and how you can help to look after your mental health when you’re self-employed.
