Learn how intellectual property can protect you and help you profit from your business idea.

An understanding of intellectual property and its protection is vital for anyone with an idea, whether it’s a business, an invention, a brand name or a song.

This session hosted by The British Library Business & IP Centre will introduce the four areas of intellectual property and help you understand which ones may apply to you and your business. The session provides a basic introduction to patents, trade marks, registered designs and copyright and provides a foundation to the ‘Mini-Masterclass’ series.

This complementary workshop is two hours long, during which you will have the opportunity to ask your questions, and will be followed by networking and refreshments.
